Rapper Emmanuel A. Archy a.k.a DaRhema was born on the 16th of February 1973 to late Mr and Mrs James Archy, in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State in Nigeria.
He holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Calabar.
He first grabbed a mic back in Unical, when he hooked up with L Cube D and Merry Daddy to form the very impressive rap group RHYMES UNABATED PHAT LYRICS COMMAND. The group underwent a lot of metamorphosis, to end up as a 6 man group, Double 0 - 7, Luccini, LaMore and the late Suspect X joining the group after the exit of L CUBE D (who hung his lyrical boots)!
But later in 2002, DaRhema who was then known as D.E.T (the Dope Extra Terrestrial) felt God calling him back to himself. Later that year he recommitted his life to God, and gave up "worldly" rap music. Though a lot of people told him to use his lyrical skills to do gospel rap, he refused until God himself spoke to him in late 2005, and also confirmed it through the mouths of many people.
He answered this call in 2006, and started making his debut album amidst so many oppositions! Satan fought his efforts, but Glory be to God, cos a vessel is here armed with the Spoken Word of God, aimed at the youths of his generation.
